Hoover Dam
The Hoover Dam, as many know, has a lot of history surrounding it. Some of which isn’t so great, as more than 100 workers lost their lives during the dam’s construction. Visitors to the site can learn about what it took to build this massive structure and how it has changed many people’s lives today.
Grapevine Canyon
Think petroglyphs are cool? Then you’ll love hiking through Grapevine Canyon. Make your way down the dried-up river wash and you’ll encounter 1,000-year-old Native American petroglyphs, three seasonal waterfalls and natural bath tubs worn into the rocks. The Grapevine Canyon Trail is rated “moderate” and is dog-friendly.
Lake Mead Overlook

Bowl of Fire
Within the Lake Mead National Recreation area, you can find the Bowl of Fire. This desolate sightseeing spot will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the Jurassic era.
