Lake Mead’s 80th
Lake Mead celebrates an anniversary this year, too, as it’s been 80 years since the National Park Service started administering Lake Mead in 1936. History

You can learn about Lake Mead’s history and see historical photos, including some of the famous town of St. Thomas before it went underwater. As it turns out, the remains of St. Thomas are above water again so you can visit the ghost town. Having the backstory behind St. Thomas and other interesting facts will help make your exploration even more interesting.
